Are You Kidding Me???
Just got home from the Minute Clinic. Owen tested postive for strep...AGAIN!!! He just finished his 10 day antibiotic on Wednesday night for strep. The nurse there said to follow up with his dr on Monday. His tonsils are gigantic and she said she would recommend having them removed. I am all for that if it relieves him from all these yucky illnesses! This antibiotic better work or I am going to lose it!!!!!

Kelly, I am sorry. I am sure that totally sucks. I hope Owen feels better soon. Update us on the tonsils.

How are things today?
Did the nurse say that having the tonsils out would prevent future strep? That seems weird. But if it does, it's worth looking into. When I worked at RadioShack, I had strep A LOT!! I have sense determined it was the old building and its a/c. I haven't had strep since -- not even working at an elementary school.
He's much better now. Yes, I think having his tonsils out would prevent strep. I know a couple kids in pta and my niece and nephew that had thiers removed and they are hardly ever sick anymore. I am still waiting to hear from his dr to discuss it further.
